25. Describe the types of bonding (ionic, disulphide, and hydrophobic interactions) which hold an enzyme molecule in shape.

Answer:

Disulphide bridge-strong covalent bond between sulphydryl groups of cysteine amino acids
Ionic bond-weak bond between positively and negatively charged side chains
Hydrophobic interaction-clustering of hydrophobic nonpolar side chains away from water
