Lag phase, growth is slow in this phase. There is only a no
cell division nor ell enlargement.
Log phase, growth is the fastest in this phase. The cells
divide and enlarge rapidly as conditions for growth are at optimum condition.
Decelerating phase ,Growth begins to decrease due to the
limiting by external or internal factors or both. For examples are depleting
nutrients,limited space,competition, accumulation of excretory wastes and toxins.
Stationary phase, Growth are no longer occur.
Negative phase, the organism is ageing and the growth rate
start to decrease.
